01Who we are and what role we play

1.1 TeleHost as controller

When you register on telehost.net, subscribe to hosting, domains, billing, or other services we provide directly, TeleHost C.A. is the controller of your account, billing, and support data.

1.2 TeleHost as tech provider / processor (WhatsApp)

When your business uses the WhatsApp Business platform through TeleHost (for example TeleChat, or onboarding as a tech provider):

• We process WhatsApp Business Solution data only on your instructions (the customer or business).
• We do not create profiles of WhatsApp end users for our own advertising or marketing purposes.
• We do not sell, rent, or disclose that data for third-party advertising.
• As the customer, you must comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business, Commerce, and messaging policies; we provide tools and technical processing in line with those rules and our contracts.

Meta also processes certain data under its own policies when you use WhatsApp.

02What data we collect

2.1 Account and billing data

Name or legal entity name, email, contact phone, password (stored securely), billing and payment data (processed by payment gateways; we do not store the full card number when the provider tokenizes it), and verification documents when required by law or ICANN (for example, domains).

2.2 Technical usage data

IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time, access logs, and security events. These are used to operate, protect, and improve the service.

2.3 Browser storage

We use first-party storage as needed for session, authentication, security, and basic preferences. If we enable aggregated site measurement, we will say so. We do not use third-party advertising trackers in product consoles unless we state that explicitly. You can clear browser data; doing so may end your session.

2.4 Communications with TeleHost

Emails, tickets, support chat, and forms: we retain the content you send us so we can assist you.

2.5 WhatsApp Business data (when you use TeleChat or another of our solutions)

Depending on what you configure and what Meta delivers through the WhatsApp Business platform, we may process, on your behalf:

• Phone numbers (WhatsApp Business line, agents, and, where applicable, end users who message you).
• Content of messages sent and received (text, templates, images, audio, documents, location, and other media).
• Technical messaging data (delivery status, date and time, message identifiers, line quality or limits).
• Templates and their approval status.
• Business account data linked to tech-provider onboarding.
• Technical events required to deliver the service.

We do not use the content of those messages to train TeleHost’s own artificial intelligence models, unless a specific product states otherwise and you enable it. If you enable AI features (for example inbox auto-reply or a drafting assistant), the necessary content may be sent to the AI provider configured by TeleHost or by you (an industry-standard compatible pool).

2.6 Data of visitors to our customers’ sites

If you run a site or checkout on our infrastructure, we may process your visitors’ data only on your behalf and according to your configuration.

03How we use the data

• Create and administer your account, services, and billing.
• Provide technical support and operational notices (not unsolicited commercial messages).
• Security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
• Operate and improve the platform (aggregated or pseudonymized metrics where sufficient).
• For WhatsApp: transmit, store, and display messages and files solely to perform the service you subscribed to, following your instructions.
• Meet obligations to ICANN, authorities, or Meta when the WhatsApp platform so requires.

Legal bases: performance of the contract, your consent where we ask for it, legitimate interest in security and improvement (balanced), and legal obligation.

04Who we share data with (subprocessors and third parties)

We do not sell personal data.

05International transfers

We may process data on servers inside and outside Venezuela. We apply reasonable contractual and security measures. By using the service, you accept those transfers to the extent permitted by applicable law.

06How to request access, correction, or deletion

You have the right to access, rectify, update, restrict, object (where applicable), port (if technically feasible), and request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.

1. Write to privacidad@telehost.net (cc soporte@telehost.net) from your account email.
2. State name/legal entity, service, and what you request; if you are a WhatsApp end user, include the number and the business.
3. We verify identity; target 30 days.
4. Account deletion: same email.

WhatsApp end users: may request from you or from privacidad@telehost.net. Deletion on request; target up to 72 business hours after verification.

Meta mechanism: https://tchat.telehost.net/api/data-deletion confirms the request. Operational deletion in our systems is completed on request (not automatic solely via a Meta identifier).

07Retention

While the account is active. After cancellation: up to 30 days; permanent deletion on request or through the support process, unless a legal obligation applies. Backups rotate according to policy.

08WhatsApp Business account portability

We assist with portability or unlinking as Meta provides, within up to 30 days, via support and Meta’s process. It is not an automatic in-product button. soporte@telehost.net.

09Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections, access controls, encryption of secrets and access keys where applicable (including strong encryption of Meta tokens in TeleChat), isolation between customers in products that offer it, monitoring, and backups. No system is invulnerable; if you detect an incident, write to us immediately at privacidad@telehost.net.

10Minors

The services are intended for people aged 18 or older, or for legal representatives of companies. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change and, if a change is material, we will notify you via the website or email when it is reasonable to do so. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance, unless law requires explicit consent.
